Quilled Heart Pendant

Really i need some break from watching politics in TV, as you all know the Tamil Nadu current politics turmoil. It makes everyone to think what is next, because of frequent twists and turns. Let's wish a good candidate has to rule Tamil Nadu. Nothing much to talk ;-)

Having escaped from Politics, came up with beautiful handmade accessories. I'm a person who always obsessed with Crafting.

Quilled accessories are my all time favorite due to its beauty, comfort and being weightless. In the month of February, crafters first choice would be hearts, no other go.

I have seen so many heart shaped quilled accessories. So made a heart shape using Cake Mould. I painted this heart shape with black acrylic color and let it dry for few days.

Now I wanted to try the beehive technique in quilling. But i need both silver and black color to be bee-hived. I sticked the strips on top of the other and bee-hived it. So that it would be silver one side and on the other hand it would be black. This color intrication made people to keenly see what is done.  Tada!! Full heart is ready.




Still i wanted to make some unique piece. I wanted to experiment new looks and styles. Being a thoughtful person, struck on an idea of keeping "black tube beads" on top of the outer heart shape.  So that it will not look so simple, but Gorgeous.

I had some white heart beads, later added these charms and made it so attractive.
