Coffee Painting

It's not that painting is my passion, i'm just an amateur.  I'd love to do Paintings,  but i've done only water color and fabric paintings on the chart papers/thermocols ( Missed to keep all those, so sad ) in my childhood. Recently i learnt coffee painting and thought of adding it in the blog. So here i'm.

Coffee is not only starts our day, but makes an interesting art too. I'm basically a caffine addict :-D  This post will help people to make their own coffee painting as well. It's my first "Painting" post after all. Okay, lets start the painting now.

Things required :

1. Canvas Board (any size/shape) - 1
2. Yellow Carbon sheet - 2 or 3
3. Pencil - 1
4. Waste Cloth and 2 Plastic Cups
5. 3D Copper Liner - 1
6. Instant Coffee Powder (BRU preferrable)
7. Dettol - 10 ml
8. Water
9. Camlin Paint Brushes - 3 ( 1. 0 size 2. 3 size 3. wide size for spreading )

Steps :

1. Steal a picture,if not an expert. It's not required for professional artist.
If both cases not work, just draw something random or abstract. It would end up fun.

I've stolen the below picture from Google. You can choose your own size. It's A3 size.

2. Have water in one plastic cup to get different shades.

3. Mix coffee powder and plain water in proper portion in another cup, so that it becomes a paste and mix small amount of dettol to get away from ants.

4. First trace the picture using yellow carbon on the Canvas board or hand free drawing is good, if you are an expert.

Now the picture is ready. ( I missed the picture, but you can see the trace with the below pictures )

5. Outline the trace with 3D Copper liner. Copper color is chosen, since it would be giving good look for Coffee painting.

6. Start filling according to your taste. For different shades, use wide brush, dip into water and spread over to get the shades from pale yellow to brown. Light shades can be made easily using water.

7. You can write your own statements or scriptures or sayings by someone.

8. Finally i have given the painting for framing in a nearby shop.

Frame Colors can be Brown. Dark Brown is preferred.

Finally now it is hanging in my home wall :-)
